Florie Liser is the President and CEO of Corporate Council on Africa and is the first woman to lead the Council since 1993. Before Presiding CCA, she was the Assistant US Trade Representative for Africa where she led trade and investment policy towards 49 sub-Saharan African countries and oversaw the implementation of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). She has also worked at the USTR for Industry, Market Access and Telecommunications, Office of International Transportation and Trade at the Department of Transportation. She is the Co-Chair of the Advisory Council for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and member of the Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee for the Export-Import Bank (EIM).
